Good food but horrible service. We were made to pay before we finished eating and they took our chairs away half an hour after we were seated. We had to stand at the table. Standing brunch! It was my friend's birthday.

Delicious food and so many choices! They have a nice patio section out back with some extra seating and they even let our dog walk through the restaurant to gt to the back area. I love that they open earlier than most other places because I can't wait until 10 am to eat breakfast, also allowed us to get in before the rush!

This place is open and still churning out amazing food! I was ordering breakfast for 17 essential employees at my company as a “Thank You” for their time on site, and was put in touch with the owner of Sound Bites who took my order and personally delivered it on site (maintaining social distance of course). Everyone raved about the breakfast offerings and awesome portions. They’re delivering all day and deserve our business! Very reasonable prices as well. Please support them!

Amazing food; amazing service, super friendly staff. If you're hung over, be warned, you gotta get your own coffee (chores). Other than that, great meal for your money!

Had a brunch here! Busy and pretty good. Steak and cheese omelette a little less steaky tasting than I would have preferred.

This is one of the absolute best places I have ever eaten! Been here a few times and they never disappoint. My favorite thing to get is the grilled challah bread.Tip if you've never been here: the juice, coffee, tea, & water are self serve!

Just ordered food from them and my chicken kabob rollup came super dry. I paid extra for hummus and avocado and they did not add it to my wrap....Update: owner was attentive and offered me a refund or free food next time I order from them. I'll update the review again once I go there again.

The chicken and waffles were amazing! The coffee is refreshing too and you have an assortment of really nice mugs to pick!

Soundbites met all of our expectations for a good breakfast joint in the area. The service was quick and efficient, and the food was spectacular. We both got the eggs Benedict, and they were done perfectly. The self serve coffee and drinks was fine, but got a little awkward when trying to weave around people while trying to fill up our cups. Definitely worth checking out

The food was really good- I got the lox on a bagel! Portions where good and the atmosphere of the restaurant was nice. However, service was not the best, as waiters seemed to be impatient with us. I'm unsure as to whether I would come back or recommend to a friend for this reason.

A great variety of delicious breakfast dishes with friendly quick service. Every time we go, there are new specialty dishes on the menu and we are never disappointed. The food is amazing and the ambiance and service makes us want to keep coming back.

Friggin delicious. You get to pick your own my and make your coffee, it's cute. So many choices, good prices, love this place. They're so nice.

Benedict's hollandaise sauce was thicker than it should be. Other than that, it was pretty good however not good to justify the $15 price point.Ricotto French toast was on point, fresh fruits and good amount of cheese.Jimmy's Moroccan Eggs dish is delicious but it might use a bit more cooking for the onions than just caramelizing. Negatives (why downgraded to 4 star):Fresh Orange Juice was actually day-old.Mimoza was so small in portion yet same price as other breakfast places.Coffee and water is self-serve, not sure why we tip there, I can pick my plates when it's ready to save $15-20 per meal, and clean after myself. Also, coffee is in gas station style thermos, and hard to reach between the busy tables...Pricey! $65 for 3 people. One dish each, 3 coffees, and 1 mimosa...

I placed an order for Eggs Benedict at 7:25am on Uber Eats and was delivered the best Eggs Benedict I've ever had in my life. Perfect temperature and seasoning. Sound Bites has become a highlight of my quarantine!

Wonderful place to have breakfast, I honestly didn't expect the feeling I got after having a great meal with outstanding customer service. The warm welcoming energy throughout the entire stay, really boosted my day. It was a great experience that I will definitely will go back to.

The food is always amazing. The service spectacular. I was about to be ticketed by the meter officer. The staff warned me and I had a chance to rectify the situation. Even the meter officer was cool.

From the moment you enter that restaurant they give you an agreeable feeling. Very friendly team, it is a nice restaurant to go out with your friends or with your date. yummy cooking, experienced chef de cuisine, good price and nice service. Highly recommended.

To start, I should say that I am a cactus. I LOVE water and can drink like 5 cups in one sitting. I HATE waiting for the waiter to refill my cup but here you can get refills as needed!!! I love it. They have a water and a coffee station that u can go and refill! Magical!You get A LOT of food and I didn't manage to eat it all. I got fruit, pancakes, eggs, bacon Sooo good.Parking is trash though and took me about 20 minutes to find somewhere to park. But besides that i will go again.

The owner is the absolute best. He alone would make the experience worth it, but the food and atmosphere are beyond amazing also. If you're in the mood for brunch, there's nowhere better in Somerville!

I have been going to Sound Bites for many years - the breakfasts are wonderful and customers are treated well. Having now moved from Boston, I always return to Sound Bites when I am in town and always look forward to eating there.

The food here is beyond excellent, especially for brunch. The place has a very home-y feel to it and the manager/owner and staff are very welcoming. I’m so sad to be moving away soon as this place will definitely be missed!

This is by far the best morning breakfast in the area. Outstanding service and just overall a great place. Lobster and Brie omelet is amazing. Order it just for the amount of lobster. The salmon and Loxs bagel is WOW

Been coming here for years- best in Ball Square. Yasser and all his staff are so friendly and hard working. The food is delicious- Boston Best Blue or the waffles are my go-to.

I absolutely love this place. The pumpkin pancakes with caramel drizzle is out of this world. The staff is super nice and helpful.

Recently took my brother out to Sound Bites for his birthday. This is one of my favorite brunch spots in the city. They usually have a line in the morning on the weekends but it moves pretty quickly and the food is great. Highly recommend grabbing a cup of freshly squeezed orange juice from the self serve fridge! Staff is friendly and the service is prompt.

Fast turnover for brunch. The food is excellent, with breakfast staples and unusual offerings. Service is quick, and drinks are self-serve. There are a variety of coffees to choose from, along with a cooler of bottled drinks and fresh-squeezed orange juice. There's also a full bar, though I've never ordered anything from it!

Excellent food, excellent service. The owner is well known to everyone and he will greet you or stop by your table. Mornings and early afternoon there can be a few minutes wait, but it is well worth it. Love the place.

Great food selections, breakfast served all day plus lunch and dinner menu , great staff... Accommodating to your needs. Decent prices. Their corned beef hash (halal) is to die for... And do not order their Broadway bowl, cause you are gonna end up been addicted to it!

What a delight for a Saturday, Sunday brunches. Food is totally satisfying, both in taste and in portion size. House blend coffee was not the best this time though. Service is efficient and friendly, the owner is hyperactive, greeting every guest and making them feel at home. Be prepared to queue, but turnout is fast and one can enjoy a coffee while waiting outside to be seated. Will definitely visit frequently.

Tiny hole-in-the-wall place with friendly and attentive staff and self-serve drinks. The specials menu is phenomenal. It was crowded but we were seated immediately upon arrival.

My favorite breakfast place in the greater Boston area. Super chill vibe, absolutely delicious food, friendly owners. A cool concept for a breakfast place. I can't recommend it highly enough and always bring my out of town visitors there for a treat (and another excuse to go!)

Great place for Brunch! They even have a serve yourself coffee section, hot and iced. And mmm, their omelets are delicious.
